Court Sports
Manhattan Athletic Club features two racquetball courts and one half-court indoor basketball court. An unoccupied racquetball court can be converted into a wallyball court very quickly upon request. These courts are to be enjoyed at the leisure of our members, with all necessary equipment available at the front desk.
Indoor Basketball
Our half court gymnasium features a true double-layered sport floor and is available for pickup games up to 3-on-3. When no games are taking place, the court is open for shooting around for those that just want a little warm-up or cool down before or after a workout. Basketballs are available at the front desk.
Racquetball
We feature two USRA regulation racquetball courts for your enjoyment, each with a glass back wall. Racquets and racquetballs are available at the front desk. Protective eyewear is HIGHLY recommended. Wallyball
Wallyball (known in some places as rebound volleyball) is a fast-paced sport that was created by Bill Dejonghe at the Calabasas Racquetball Club (Calabasas, California), in 1979. The idea was an attempt to help bring more business into the club in the summer months. The sport is similar to volleyball, but is played on a racquetball court. Courts are available via reservation or on a first come, first served basis. Please contact the front desk to reserve a court at 504-362-2200.
