Aqua Exercise Classes (aka Water Aerobics)
Included in your membership, our aqua classes are fun, challenging, yet very low-impact and suitable for all levels. Aqua & Aqua Express, at 60 and 45 minutes, respectively, use the natural resistance of water along with props, such as different-sized hand buoys (foam dumbbells), foam noodles, and kick-boards, to build muscle and increase cardiovascular fitness without putting extra stress on your joints.
Remember, our pool is large enough to consistently offer 4 lanes of open lap swim throughout the day—even during aqua fitness classes, so avid swimmers need not worry about losing access to their workout during aqua class times. Don’t forget to round out your pool time with a few minutes in the whirlpool or steam room to relax after your workout!
